SFU USES Entrance Scholarships

If your USES application meets the minimum requirements to be considered for USES, you are not required to submit the Supplemental Application for admission to your program. Your USES application will be reviewed in lieu of the Supplemental Application for admission to your program, as well as the USES competition. All components of your USES application (including references) must be complete to be considered.

Canada's most coveted STEM scholarship.  100 Scholarships of $120,000 for STEM students at over 20 institutions.

Up to $60,000 dollars

Requires school nomination. In addition to meeting the eligibility requirements, student applications will be adjudicated by a selection committee that will consider the student’s proven resilience in the face of adversity, positive work ethic, academic suitability, contributions to community, the clarity of educational goals, focused commitment, fit with the organization, and the support of references.

Students interested in being considered will submit a brag sheet and a financial need form to Mrs. Healey Wright by January 22^nd, 2027.

Applications for our selected nominee are due February 7th of each year.

Students who meet requirements are invited to fill out the nomination form BC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP  NOMINATION FORM 2026 - 2027 – Fill out form Centennial will submit one name for further consideration and adjudication by the Ministry for 55 $5,000 Scholarships in BC.

Application Process

To apply, please complete the Application Form. You do not need to be a member of a Kin Canada Club to apply, but you will be asked to select the Club closest to you on the application. You may confirm your closest club here. (Coquitlam)
