It’s almost October!
Students will have their photos taken on Monday, October 1st. Lifetouch photographers will be here. They will return November 7th for retakes.
We hosted our annual Terry Fox Run yesterday! It
is so great to see 547 kids along with dozens of parents and staff
participating!
We are still collecting donations for the Terry
Fox Foundation. Our coin jar is still at the office! We have raised
$2500 so far, but our goal is $4000.
Children can still bring in loonies and toonies
next week. We can still collect pledge sheets as well! Parents can

We did our first earthquake drill on Wednesday.
I’d like to thank the Walton PAC, especially the Norena family for
ensuring our students and staff have adequate supplies (water and food)
in case of an emergency. I’m wondering if families
are prepared at home for an emergency?
We haven’t been able to enforce our drop off zone
lately, but only registered daycare providers should be waiting in this
area between 2:45-3:00pm. Generally this area clears at 3:00pm for
other parents to come in. Please do not park
in this area between 2:45-3:00pm.
