We are about to enter our last week of school. Here
are some things you need to know.
Tuesday, June 27th is our Canada 150 Spirit Days.
We’d like the children to come to school wearing colours that represent Canada
to them! This event is planned by our Student Council.
Wednesday, June 28th is the Caring in Action
Carnival! The students of Divisions 1, 2, 4 and 5 are hosting this
event. The students have planned different activities, all for the sake
of fundraising for BC Children’s Hospital or the BCSPCA. Each
ticket for the carnival is 25 cents. Students may wish to bring upwards
to $2 to play more games! Classes have signed up for a 30 minute block to
bring their students to the carnival. Please note that due to the
carnival there is no Morning Fitness.
Thursday, June 29th is the last day of
school. We will host our Farewell Assembly at 9:00am. The Hip Hop
Club, sponsored by Ms. Pass, will perform. We’ll recognize this year’s
Junior Traffic Safety Patrollers! We’ll also say good-bye to our
departing staff. School will dismiss at 11:55am.
