Information for New Parents from our Walton PAC

October 14, 2014

Invitation to New Parents’ Information Night

                                                Monday, October 20th, 2014 at 6:00 p.m.

Dear new Walton parents,

Now that you have a child enrolled in our school, you are members of the Walton Elementary Parent Advisory Council (PAC) - a very active and involved group that we cordially want to bid you welcome to.

Coming up on Monday, October 20th, 2014, beginning at 6:00 p.m. is an Information Evening for all parents new to the PAC. We will explain what we do and how things work,  show you ways to get more involved in your child’s new school, answer your questions and introduce you to our Liaison Parents.

The PAC meets about once a month during the school year to discuss and vote on our activities, all of which are aimed towards enriching the educational experience at our school, to work towards the safety and well-being of students and to actively reach out towards families, staff and administration.

We hope to meet many new Walton Parents at that occasion. Free child-minding will be provided during the event for potty-trained children aged three or older. Please e-mail the PAC to let us know if you will be bringing children at waltonpac@gmail.com

Looking forward to getting to know you and your children soon,

Megan Risk and Craig Woods, Co-chair Presidents

on behalf of the Walton Elementary PAC executive

P.S. If you would like to find out more about the parents’ activities and the PAC, we invite you to go to the Walton PAC website at www.waltonpac.ca. We post all news and announcements, fundraising activities and ways to get involved.
