​ALERT! Hillcrest is a federal election polling site on Monday, April 28th. Voting will be from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. As this is a day in session for students, we will have to make major changes to our drop-off and pick-up routines. On April 28, the parking lot off Regan Ave. will be strictly for staff use only. ALL student drop-off and pick-ups must occur on the west-side loop off Como Lake Ave.. The gate to the south staff parking lot will be closed and only staff will be allowed to enter by an administrator. Thank you in advance for your cooperation on April 28th

2024 11 12 Letter to Superintendents - H5 Avian Influenza (Final).pdf

Out of an abundance of caution, Fraser Health has sent school districts in the region a letter about the teenager who has tested presumptively positive for avian influenza. Please see the letter attached for more information. We encourage everyone to practice the preventative measures suggested, including:

  • Stay up to date on all immunizations, especially the seasonal flu vaccine
  • Do not touch sick or dead animals
  • Stay home if you are sick

​Information regarding band/choir practices and sign up.

Early morning rehearsals will start next week.  Advanced Band will practice on Tuesday and Friday  in the Drama Stage Room.  Beginner Band will practice on Wednesday in the Drama Stage Room.  Choir will rehearse on Thursday in the Music Room.  All rehearsals start at 7:45 am sharp.  IF a parent has not signed you up for band or choir yet, you are still welcome to join.  To sign up, please find Ms. Plesko in Rm 150 at nutrition break.

Cross Catchment Applications are for families who wish for their children to attend a school that is not their regular catchment school. You will need your child's nine digit PEN (Personal Education Number) to complete the application. PEN's can be found on formal report cards or through your school. For students starting Kindergarten in September 2021, you do not need to provide the PEN.
