Welcome to Glen Elementary School!
Glen is a multicultural school that welcomes students from around the world. Our dedicated educators use research-based teaching strategies to help students learn about and develop their intellectual, personal, and social and emotional proficiencies that all students need to engage in deep, lifelong learning. Along with literacy and numeracy foundations, they are central to British Columbia’s K-12 curriculum and assessment system and directly support students in their growth as educated citizens. We work in partnership with parents and encourage everyone to get involved in their child’s schooling.

Vice Principal: Mrs. Monica Anderson
Hello Glen Community! I am so fortunate to step into my new role as Vice-Principal at Glen Elementary and to be a part of this welcoming and inclusive learning community. I have worked as an educator in the Coquitlam School District for the past 21 years and have taught levels K-7 as a classroom teacher. With a passion for inclusion and working with students with diverse needs, I then moved into Student Services. I spent the last two years working at the district level as an Inclusion Support Teacher, where I supported students and families at many schools across the district. I am also a mom of two kiddos- a daughter who is 14 and a son who is 12 as well as two pups named Indy and Ringo!
