Law Society Essay Contest
  • 2025–26 topic: Based on Roncarelli v. Duplessis (1958), discuss the rule of law as a fundamental constitutional principle and its relevance today
  • Open to Grade 12 students, or those enrolled in Law 12, Political Studies 12, Social Justice 12, or Social Studies 11 in BC
  • Winner: $1,000 · Runner-up: $500 · Late entries not accepted

Student Essay Contest – Association for Women in Mathematics
  • Write a 500–1,000 word biography of a woman or underrepresented gender identity in mathematics, based on an interview you conduct with them
  • Open to middle school, high school, and undergraduate students; submit via MathPrograms.org
