Sept 24, 2022 - BYOD LAPTOPS
Thank you to those families that have returned your BYOD (Bring Your Own Devices) loaner forms. I have filled my current supply of district owned laptops and have requested more from the district. I do not know when these will arrive and I will fill these outstanding request as the new laptops come in. If you have not yet received a form, you may download one here. You will need to print it out to sign (sorry no DocuSign) and return it to your core teacher or to the office.
In the meantime, your student may need to complete tasks using pen/pencil and paper first. They may then need to use a home shared family computer if one is available to complete any digital assignments that are required .
RESPONSIBILTY FOR BYOD LAPTOPS:
Students are reminded that these loaner laptops are DISTRICT-OWNED and are fragile devices. Please take the necessary precautions to prevent any potential damage - i.e. padded compartment in backpacks; gentle handling in transport to/from school; avoid eating/drinking around the laptop; supervise younger sibling/family members/friends using the laptop; etc.
