    Welcome to Ecole Pitt River Community Middle School

    Pitt River Middle School officially opened as a middle school in September of 1996. Prior to the district reorganization, the original building served as Mary Hill Junior Secondary School from September of 1964.

    With its new name, the staff of Pitt River Middle were looking for a new identity. It is often said that education is an adventure and a journey, and so it should be. Acquiring new information and learning new skills opens doors and exposes endless possibilities. The name Voyageurs was adopted to represent the journey and adventure Pitt River Middle School students were about to begin.

    We are incredibly proud of everything that makes up the fabric of Pitt River Middle School.  It is an amazing place!

    Winter Afterschool Programs

    Registration starts Monday, December 30, 2025, at 9:00 AM.

    Programs run from Monday, January 12, to Friday, March 6, 2026.
    Note: There are no programs on Pro-D days or Statutory Holidays

    Beyond the Bell programs must register through the City of Port Coquitlam
