The Southside Family of Schools are joining together to raise funds to purchase and install a bench dedicated to the memory of Amanda Todd in Settler’s Park adjacent to Hazel Trembath Elementary school, in accordance with the wishes of the family. Donations will be collected in our school office until Friday, December 7, 2012, and cheques may be made payable to Kilmer Elementary School. We will also be making announcements and putting up posters in the school over the next week asking students to donate. Any monies  raised in excess of the amount required to purchase and install the bench will be donated to the already established initiative of the Amanda Todd Legacy Fund.
