Our TEAL Shirt leaders (TEAL = Together, Encouraging and Accepting Leaders) are once again sponsoring this campaign to collect non-perishable food items for our local food bank.
The campaign will begin on October 9
th, following our Thanksgiving Weekend and runs through (and including) October 31st.
Students are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to school for the food drive. Items will be collected in the front foyer each morning by TEAL Shirt leaders.
On October 31
st, leadership students from Riverside Secondary will come by our school (and other schools in the South Side Family of Schools) to collect our contributions. Last year, over 4,000 pounds of food was collected from our generous families in our community.
