SSNO (Ski/Snowboard Club) 

We look forward to heading up to Cypress Mountain with our  SSNO club students every W​ednesday afternoon/evening in January!

Morning Crew 

Start your day off right!  Come to the back outside entrance of the MPR every Thursday at 8:00am to stay warm and dry.  Enjoy music, giant Jenga, giant Twister, board games and ping pong.  Have an assignment you didn't get a chance to finish?  Come on in and finish it up.

​Textiles Club​​ 

Textiles club is starting again! This drop-in club will be running Tuesdays in the Textiles room at lunch. This is a time to explore textiles interests such as hand sewing, crocheting, knitting, and weaving with the supervision of Mrs. Coghlan.  Students are welcome to bring their own projects and materials to work on, or they can use some available donated materials to explore and create their textiles visions. New members always welcome! Location: The Textiles Room Time: Tuesdays at Lunch Time

Taylor Swift School Club

Hey Swifties!  Are you ready for it?  We're excited to announce the formation of our very own Taylor Swift School Club.  Whether you're a fearless newbie or a seasoned lover, this club is your wildest dream come true.  We'll be meeting on the 13th of every month at lunch in room 304, where we'll shake it off, discuss our favorite lyrics, make the friendship bracelets, and even plan some enchanted activities.  From listening parties to karaoke, we'll make the whole place shimmer with Taylor's magic.  Our first meeting will be on October 11th (as the 13th is on Sunday in October).  So if you want to be a part of something that will never go out of style, come join us!

Chess Club​​ 

Are you interested in chess or looking to learn a new skill?  Come join us every Wednesday at lunch in Room 306.  No experience necessary - everyone is welcome...from beginners to advanced players.  Chess boards are provided, so get ready for some fun and challenging games.  Hope to see you there!

A place for reading and discussing books!  We will do some reading together and discuss our favorite books.  All are welcome! This club will run from September 26th until January 2025, each Thursday at lunch in room 308 with Ms. Henriksen.

Anyone interested in writing, sharing and collaborating with peers is encouraged to join our Writing Club.  Our club starts September 27th in room 102 at lunch each Friday.

Our Yearbook Club meets every Thursday at lunch in our Foods Room, 125.  This club is sponsored by Ms. Pope, Mr. Fouquette, Ms. Leung & Ms. Dobilis


Art Leadership

​There are many ways to be a leader at Summit Middle and here is one more opportunity...join Art Leadership Club! Some of the activities we do throughout the year are:  making posters and decorating for school events, visiting local elementary schools and doing crafts with the students and even hosting our own arts and crafts events.  If you are interested, please pick up an application form.  They are hanging in a folder on the Art Room​ window.  Application forms are due on Friday, September 27th.  Ms Ascoli will accept after this time as well but depending on club capacity.

Tech Crew

If you are interested in TECH (TinkerCad, 3D printing, laptops, Cricut, etc.) We want to form a group of "experts" who can help students and staff troubleshoot and use the different kinds of tech we have in our school.  Don't worry if you don't know how to use something, we are going to do some training in advance.  Meetings will be Thursdays at lunch.

Photography Club

Calling all grade 6 and 7 students with passion for photography!  Join us Friday's at lunch in room 308 to embark on an exciting journey into the world of photography.  Whether you're a novice or an experienced professional, this club is open to all.  Let's explore the art of photography, capture stunning images, and even participate in contests.  Hope to see you there!
