Dear Parents and Guardians,
We want to make you aware that this year we have a substantial number of students with severe allergies that require the use of EpiPens. To ensure the safety and well-being of all our students, no food items will be permitted for birthday celebrations.
Should families wish to honour their child's birthday they can voluntarily choose an alternate item to food like a birthday pencil, small eraser etc. but this is not an expectation and there must be enough for the class.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone.
