Rochester students with support from the community, have made 10 deer hide drums to be used for Rochester’s new drum/singing group. The drum group involves students from Rochester and Maillard middle school. This is to bring back the culture for some students and to share with friends, so that moving forward we have a better understanding of each other, and our relationships get stronger. These drums will also be available for Rochester teachers to sign out and use with their classrooms. We hope these drums will be used within the Rochester community for many years to come.
