The Parent Advisory Committee and the School Planning Council are important venues in which parents can provide input and perspectives to your child’s school priorities and the school system. They provide parents with an opportunity to discuss matters affecting our school and the education of your children.
All parents are encouraged to attend PAC meetings.
The staff at Ranch Park Elementary is proud of the supportive, active parent group that exists within the school. Our students benefit in a myriad of ways due to the selfless dedication of this group. They support our Guided Reading Program, shelve books in the library, and volunteer during field trips. Many school-wide events are dependent upon their assistance, such as Breakfast with Santa, Family Movie Night, our elaborate Fall Fun Fair, the Hot Lunch Program, and the Fruit and Veggie Program. The parents fundraise regularly for additional resources and activities to support student learning: field trips, and classroom and school-wide presentations. They spearhead fundraising drives to benefit the less fortunate among us.
