KickStart to Kindergarten
Kickstart to Kindergarten is a Program run every spring for children entering Kindergarten September of the Current year. It has been created to give children starting in September to connect with children entering into kindergarten and it also gives them an opportunity to experience school life in a classroom environment and they will learn to navigate within a classroom with their peers and have an opportunity to meet Kindergarten teachers that will share with them what Kindergarten may look like in September. It an exciting opponent for children entering Kindergarten and in the past we have seen amazing results for children. Hope to see you there, please ensure you sign up. ENTRANCES:
To enter the building, we ask families to use the front school doors or the Centre court entrance located off of the rear parking lot by the playground. Walk past the playground and keep to the left, walk through the chain-link fence into middle double doors on the left Centre of the school. Follow through doors keep left and walk to Office, we are located left of the office, you will see the Strong Start entrance ceiling sign, Room #103.
PARKING:
Parking at Mundy Road Strong Start offers parking Spaces behind the school, between the school and Daycare (about 8 spots) as well as street parking on Mundy Road. We ask that families DO NOT PARK in the Staff parking those spaces are reserved for Staff and District Staff. You will be asked to relocate your car.
WASHROOM:
Strong Start has a dedicated washroom for Strong Start Families, the Washroom is located to the left of the Classroom, down to the end of the hall, you will see the washroom sign. You will find a change table inside that washroom for diaper changes as well as a toilet and sink. We ask that Families do not use the school washrooms.
