Counselling/Youth Worker

Returning for the  2017-2018  school year, is counsellor, Ms. Sally Salituro.   Ms. Salituro  is  here  Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but she  is always accessible through email or phone call should the need arise.  Students and parents are welcome to self refer and parents are encouraged to ask for information on various topics and/or support as needed.  Teachers  discuss concerns with parents if a signed referral is in order.  The conversations and discussions are always confidental unless there is a threat of immediate harm.   Ms. Salituro also works within classrooms to promote social responsibility, self regulation and mindfulness strategies.

Ms. Nadia Moshtagninejad, our  youth worker, is available each morning to help with any student who may need  of support,  attention or an adult friend to connect with.    From friendship clubs, the daily breakfast programme, problem solving, developing positive relationships and helping parents to be the best they can be - that's Grace's mandate.    The no fee drop in breakfast programme runs from 8:15-8:50 each morning.
