On October 15th, Miriam Miller presented research and ideas focused on Social Emotional Learning (SEL). At the presentation, we also discussed the RULER approach and specifically talked about the Mood Meter, a very valuable tool that can be used to label emotions in any and every setting, home and school. As a follow-up to this meeting, I would like to invite you to come and learn more about and learn how to use the Mood Meter with your family. My hope is that this is the first of many sessions that we will have together, to talk about Social Emotional Learning. If you have not yet had a chance to learn about the Mood Meter and/or could not attend the last meeting, please do not worry as we will review what was discussed.
