​Recently, Telus and SD43 came together with a contest. Students entered their artwork on the theme of community and Canada's 150th birthday! Two students from Citadel earned top honours and you can see their artwork on the boxes in our own community! Bonita Shao's "Canada Livin Life" is on Citadel Drive at Colonial and Izabela Fabbro's " Geese Over Flag" is at Pitt River Middle (address TBA). They are among 5 other winners of 4 other boxes near Terry Fox Secondary (2), MInnekhada Middle School and Kwayquitlam Middle School. At the Unveiling event put on by Telus, the students were surprised with a further gift of a new iPhone 7! Congratulations to our talented artists!
