We're looking for students who are reliable, friendly, and comfortable starting conversations with people they don't know yet. This is a great opportunity for students who enjoy helping others, are open to different cultures, and can be flexible with their schedule and placement. Students can also earn volunteer hours that may be used towards CLC 12.

The Microsoft Forms application is due by June 10, 2026 (or until positions are filled). Information about dates, expectations, and volunteer hours is included in the attached document and in the Form.

3.2 What do the volunteers do? – parkrun Volunteer Hub

what is volunteering at parkrun and how do I get involved?

Volunteering is an incredibly positive, fun and rewarding way to participate at parkrun, just like walking or running.

You can volunteer directly at an event, or support outside parkrun day as a volunteer ambassador.

event volunteering

At events, the volunteer opportunities are many and varied. There is something for everyone at parkrun events; you could be setting up the course, scanning people’s barcodes at the finish or ensuring everyone gets safely around the route as a marshal. You can find a full list of the roles here.
