Soccer Summer Camp Volunteers wanted

Royal Soccer Summer Camps

  • Summer camp volunteer roles give students a fun, active way to earn community service hours while building leadership, communication, and teamwork skills in a supportive environment. 
  • Program: Royal Soccer Club Summer Volunteer Program. Ages: 14+ (high school students). 
  • Dates: Weekly camps from June 29 to September 4, 2026 - apply for one week, two weeks, three weeks, or more. 
  • Roles: Assisting staff, supporting activities and games, mentoring younger campers, and helping create a safe, positive camp experience. Locations: click for location details near you (all across BC). Students can apply online.

Bridging Generations Volunteer ProgramLow Entropy Foundation
  • Low Entropy Foundation is a local Coquitlam non-profit organization. 
  • They are launching a new intergenerational program called Bridging Generations, where youth volunteers will connect with seniors in a meaningful and supportive environment. 
  • Students will assist seniors with basic technology skills while also helping record their stories, life experiences, and wisdom for inclusion in the foundation's upcoming Wisdom Book project. 
  • The program will take place every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for 8 weeks, beginning June 30th, at the Coquitlam Aquatic Centre on Pinetree Way. 
  • olunteers can earn volunteer hours, build communication and leadership skills, connect with older generations, and contribute to a meaningful community initiative.
  • At the completion of the program, students will receive a certificate of participation acknowledging the volunteer hours they contributed.

Rainforest Adventure Camps: Volunteers neededRainforest Adventure Camps
  • Volunteer opportunities are still available for summer camps. 
  • Rainforest Adventure Camps is a non-profit organization that has been providing outdoor-based camps for ages 5-12 and other programs in the Tri-Cities since 2019. They are always looking for kind, patient, and respectful people to volunteer. The strongest volunteers might eventually become staff. Activities at camp include swimming, boating, active games, sports, table games, arts and crafts, talent shows, and more based on the interests of participants. 
  • Out-trips include places such as White Pine Beach, the Coquitlam River, Zone Bowling, Crash Crawly's (when heavy rain is forecast), and pools, parks, and playgrounds throughout the Tri-Cities. This summer, in addition to the regular camps in the Tri-Cities, they are also offering camps in Burnaby, New Westminster, Vancouver West Side, Richmond, Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows, North Vancouver, Langley, Surrey, and Greater Victoria.   • Volunteers must be at least 13 years old and be able to work independently without the assistance of others. 
  • Positions are available in a variety of areas, between July 16-20, 2026. Each spot will indicate the minimum age for that position: Set-up & Takedown (For All Ages), Green Team (For All Ages), Parking & Bike/Scooter (For Ages 16+), Family Zone (For Ages 15-18), Internet & Technology [IT] (For Ages 16+), Volunteer Support (For Ages 15+).

Neulbom Korean School: Volunteer Assistant TeachersPlace des Arts Coquitlam
  • NEULBOM KOREAN SCHOOL 2026-2027 School Year. Neulbom Korean School is seeking Volunteer Assistant Teachers who are interested in supporting Korean language and cultural education for children. 
  • Volunteer Responsibilities: assist with classroom setup and preparation; support student learning activities and classroom participation; assist younger students with assignments, crafts, and activities; organize teaching materials and classroom resources; assist teachers with attendance and classroom management; help ensure a safe and positive learning environment; support student arrival, dismissal, and transitions between activities; assist with classroom cleanup and organization after class. 
  • Eligibility: Grade 9 students or older (minimum age 14); able to communicate in Korean (speaking, reading, and writing); interested in working with children and supporting educational activities; successful applicants may be required to complete a satisfactory Criminal Record Check prior to the commencement of volunteer duties. 
  • Locations and Schedule: BCIT Burnaby Campus - Morning Session 8:45 AM-12:15 PM / Afternoon Session 1:45 PM-5:15 PM; Douglas College Coquitlam Campus - Afternoon Session 1:45 PM-5:15 PM. Applicants may indicate their preferred volunteer placement and availability. Classes are held on designated Saturdays and may not occur every week; no classes on statutory holidays and long weekends.

Burquitlam Area Block Party on August 15: Volunteers neededBurquitlam Neighbourhood Block Party Committee

  • At least six complexes are participating, and there will be some local businesses with booths, socializing, food, games, music and other entertainment happening from 3:30-7:30 pm. Volunteers will be needed to assist with set-up, clean-up, check-in, monitoring games and other areas, etc. Some of the set-up will involve putting up tents and other items; this will happen late in the morning, and clean-up will involve time at the conclusion of the event.

  • The MoreSports Youth Leadership program trains youth from 13-18 years of age (Grade 8-12) through a process of leadership identification, engagement and development that supports youth as leaders within their community. 
  • Through school, parks and community partnerships a variety of training experiences with recognized credentials is available at low or no cost. 
  • Youth leaders come from diverse backgrounds and sport experience, but they all share a passion for working with and helping kids. Aside from facilitating sports programs with an open mindset, Youth Leaders are largely trained in mentorship development; mentoring relationships often naturally occur between Youth Leaders and the children they coach. 
  • Volunteer hours and activities are tracked and recorded so each participant is provided with the necessary documentation and references required for future opportunities.
