Smiling Creek Elementary is a kindergarten to grade 5 elementary school that is proud to be a part of the Burke Mountain Community. We are fortunate to have a wonderful staff with an amazing energy who do a fabulous job in the classrooms, supporting all our students and offering opportunities to expand their learning beyond the four walls of the classroom. We are excited to have a vibrant fine arts program, a strong digital literacy program, and many opportunities for students to engage with and explore technology in a fun and safe learning environment. In addition, Smiling Creek strives to offer a variety of physical literacy opportunities (tennis, curling, hip hop) and sports teams (volleyball, basketball, cross-country, track & field).
We are fortunate to have an amazing PAC who is so supportive and who works hard to help offer varied learning opportunities for our students.
It is a pleasure to be able to come to work every day at Smiling Creek and work with this amazing community.
