Good morning Moody!
Today's Terry Fox Moment - Did you know that 1 in every 3 people in the world will be affected by cancer in some way? The type of cancer that Terry Fox had, because of the fundraising and research, doctors can now test for it and kids don't have to get their legs amputated like Terry did. Cancer research is working and every bit of fundraising helps. Today, when we jog in Terry's Marathon of Hope, let's be thankful that we have 2 legs to run with and think of ways we can raise money for Terry. Our Moody fundraising campaign starts today! In three weeks we will see how much our school has raised. Let's do it for Terry!
Grade 7 Girls Volleyball - there will be a short practice after school today!
Reminder - it's Thanksgiving weekend and there's no school on Monday.
High-Five Friday - High-five to Mme. Grayston, for helping organize our Truth & Reconciliation week last week; High-five to Ms. Reichert for getting the choir into the city council meeting; High-five to Mr. Abello, Mr. Renn, Mr. Zenone, Ms. Paquette and Mr. Pillsbury for their work on our Terry Fox run day.
Happy Thanksgiving!
