Safety First

Remember that when the bell goes, it is a signal to line up for class. If you have a ball in hand, it stays in hand. We continue to deal with unnecessary bumps to the head and concussions, too. Please be respectful of others in crowds like line ups!

Library Books

Library books are due on Friday! Look under your bed, in the sofa and in your closets for lost library books!!

Cultural Day

Cultural Day is coming up sooner than you think! You know what I'm talking about Cultural Day is a day for us to celebrate seeing you and your friends in your amazing outfits! Tomorrow is Cultural Day which begins with your amazing outfits and wonderful accessories! 

Why are we celebrating Cultural Day?! We each have a unique identity and sometimes it is not obvious just how wonderful and diverse our school population and Canadians really are! If you've seen the Hello poster at the front entrance to our school, you'll see that we speak more than 33 languages at home! That means I hope to see more than 33 different cultural day outfits tomorrow! Mark it in your calendar for tomorrow! It's Cultural Day!

Free Tickets

If you want free tickets to the Burnaby Lakers versus Coquitlam Adanacs lacrosse game happening at the Bill Copeland Arena on June 24 in the evening, sign up at the front foyer by Monday! There are a limited number of tickets and you'll need to find your own way there with your parents whose tickets are only $10! Staff tickets are $10 as well! See Christine for more details!
