Reminders from Ms. Jung
Safety First
We just had a long weekend so being thoughtful when completing our daily health check is important. All the symptoms are listed on the daily health check found on our school website or at the sign in/out desk in the main foyer.
R is for Respect
Being kind to others should be automatic. Notice with your eyes first, how your peers are doing. This time of year is often hard as you try and finish up important projects especially if you've been away. Be sure to collect work for students who are away and whom sit near you! Be sure to encourage your friends to show up on time for band, choir and classes! It's nice to start the day on time, on the right foot!
Grade 8 Acknowledgement of the Territories
Grade 8s, Ms. Meredith and Rebecca Love from the Indigenous Education department are ready to work with you in the Foods Room 120! If you are interested, your teacher will send up to 7 students from each pod to the Foods Room 120 right after these announcements. See you there! You will commit to two sessions until Nut Break today and next Tuesday. You'll also help us prepare an acknowledgement of the territories for our Grade 8 leaving ceremony! See you soon, leaders!
Today, happy birthday to: Mila!
