Today is the start of our RAC Week Valentine's Day Monday, February 14, 2022!

Reminders
Safety First
When it is wet out, please mask up and avoid being huddled together. Covid spreads through the air and when we are close together, this is the perfect breeding ground for Covid! Spread out and respect others' personal space, please!
R is for Respect
E is for educated. By now, it is routine to keep our hands to ourselves and wait our turn at the washroom. We are educated enough to know the importance of respectfully distancing! We know how to be as safe as possible, especially on this traditionally hug filled, I like you, kind of day!
Wigs for Kids BC
Today, 6 of us are donating our hair to support kids with cancer. When it is Adria's, Ava's and Isabella's turn to have their hair cut, a TEAMS link has been sent out to teachers with an optional viewing of the 10" being donated by each. Please come to the main foyer at 1pm! Ms. Paquette and Ms. Turje are having their transformations at 10:30am this morning! Thanks to everyone who has donated money and/or hair along with Ms. Jung to make this year's RAC week more memorable and caring!
Hot Lunch
Hot lunches are back and students and staff can order Subway and a pizza for the two Wednesdays in March. Visit our parent portal with your parents, to order!
Birthdays
Today, happy red and white birthday to none of us here!
Leadership
This week we are celebrating RAC (Real Acts of Caring) Week. Every day students and staff are encouraged to take notice of real acts of caring from others around the school. PINK RAC slips are available for anyone to fill in to acknowledge the kindness they see. Please focus on an act that someone has done. One slip/day/person maximum. The RAC box and slips are located in the foyer, by the office.
Today, we would like to recognize some people for their kind acts. If you got nominated, or are the nominee, please come down to the office AFTER the announcements!
