Announcements

Welcome back to Mr. Hill! Hope your day is a good one!

Reminders from Ms. Jung

Safety First

Please allow only one person in the bathroom at a time. Want to chit chat? That's what outside time is for at Nut Break and lunch!

R is for Respect

Please be supportive of others. Some of you are working in the hall, perhaps for the door decorating challenge. Let's keep to the side even if no one is there in the moment.

Snow Days

It is still snowy out there so please leave the snow on the ground or build a snowman. Can't handle the responsibility of playing nice, then choose to hang with Ms. Jung or stay in at the office. Santa would approve!

Remember to stomp stomp shuffle shuffle as you enter, please!

13 days of Moody

Ever wonder what Mr. Clay was like as a young person and when his leadership skills manifested into the kind, compassionate, thoughtful, witty, wise leader before us today?! Here is our first installment in the chronicles of Mr. Clay!

Mr. Clay actually wanted to go into the Foreign Service to be an Ambassador and what a noble career that would have been! However, having coached kids in soccer since he was 11 years old, he always knew this was a real possibility. Mr. Clay's first actual teaching assignment was in Ghana in West Africa where he was appointed as the Warden for the High Commission of Canada, responsible for Canadian and Australian Expats. During the election that year, Mr. Clay was required to plan evacuation routes for the residents in the Ashanti Region in case the election went sour! From there, Mr. Clay went to UBC for the teacher training program in the same class as our current Prime Minister Justin Trudeau! What a class that must have been with such great leaders in the making!

Mr. Clay, you are our fearless leader whom we are grateful for every day even for those of us who have made it into the principal's hot seat! Thank you, Mr. Clay! Let's make some noise from the 3rd floor to the second floor and down to show Mr. Clay our gratitude!
