- Remembrance Day Assembly Once again, Mr. Clay and Ms Jung would like to thank Ms Reichert, Ms Magnusson, Mr Abdulla, Ms Turje and Mr. Ramos for their grand efforts in bringing us together for a thoughtful assembly of poppies, songs, tableau, poetry, stories, videos and the solemn remembrance of the 11th day of the 11th month. We remember the gratitude we have for a life of love, peace and freedom. We wear our poppies because we remember the importance of sharing peace. Thank you for your messages of hope and promise on your Valentine's for Vets. We hope you will stop by and read the messages you have shared. Having half of our student population involved in the assembly was inspiring. Sharing our assembly with so many of our parents was appreciated. November 11th is Remembrance Day. Lest we forget.
- Outside Day! It's an outside day today! Sign out a volleyball at the office and head outside to play. Consider eating lunch in the nooks outside the new wing of the school! Please do your part for our environment and recycle properly after yourself. If you have been on the zipline all this week, please share and let others have a turn!
Locker Bay Areas The main floor locker bay is especially crowded after school. Tip #2 today for staying safe in this area is to visit this area only after the area has cleared out, at 3:10p.m. Otherwise, you can please enter and exit the school from the front foyer or the gathering place stairs across from the office! Thanks for making this space safer for all!
Scholastic Book Fair - there is a meeting tomorrow at lunch in the library

Congrats to the Gr 8 girls volleyball teams! They played in Day 1 of the Districts last night. Awesome bumps, set and serves! And a special congrats to Girls Gr 8 Team 2 who are moving on to PMSS finals tonight. Could all girls who played last night meet in Mr. Budai's room at nut break for an important meeting.
Gr 8 boys volleyball did amazing yesterday - they won 5 games and lost 2 - they were right up there in the top teams, but unfortunately lost first place to another boys team.
