Thank you to everyone ho support Division 12's Terry Fox treat sale on Wednesday. We raised a fabulous $390 (and 45 cents) for cancer research! That's just about one dollar for every student in the school, like the Marathon of Hope aimed to raise a dollar for every Canadian.

Yearbooks for sale - next week is your last chance to buy a yearbook for this year. We have a few left and they will go on sale on Monday. If you still want a yearbook, ask your parents/guardians to email Ms. Reeves in the office (breeves@sd43.bc.ca). First come, first served so hurry before it is too late.

Fair! Fair! Glorious Fair! Fire Pod's Young Entrepreneur Fair is on Wednesday May 1st - less than 1 week away! Make sure you bring your loonies and toonies to purchase some of Fire Pod students' amazing creations.

A HUGE congratulations to the cast and crew of Mary Poppins for a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious run and successful closing night. You put blood, sweat and tears in to the show and it was amazing! Our wrap party for all cast and crew will be on Tuesday after school until about 4:00 pm.

Terry Fox announcement - Our Terry Fox run is going to be next week! I hope you are prepared to run. Every day until the Terry Fox run, we shared some fun facts about him, and this is day 6! The American Cancer Society presented Terry with their highest award; The Sword of Hope. Terry said the most memorable moment of his run was when he met his idol, Bobby Orr who was a famous Hockey player at the time. Remember to donate. You can donate on the Terry Fox Foundation website or in person. We are hoping for 100% participation. Terry's goal was to raise one dollar for every Canadian and we want to continue that great goal! We hope to see you all at the run next week.
