Welcome to Glenayre Elementary School and to our website!  Glenayre School is located in a well-established, secluded community at the foot of Burnaby Mountain. It shares boundaries with the cities of Port Moody, Burnaby and Coquitlam, just outside of metro Vancouver.  Glenayre is a dual-track school, having programs in both English and Early French Immersion for kindergarten to grade 5 students.  

Glenayre Elementary is a wonderful community being friendly and welcoming to all newcomers.  The school works hard to maintain an atmosphere of caring and respect.  Cooperation is evident among staff, students and the parent community.  The Glenayre Parent Advisory Council “PAC” works well with the school to guide, support, and help improve life chances for our students and provides many opportunities for parent involvement.

Improving student learning is the basis for all decisions made at Glenayre.   It's easy to keep up to date with what's happening here at Glenayre through this website and our weekly school newsletters that can be found on the front page of our website.
