Attention all Grade 12's
As part of the 2022 Graduation requirement all students this year must write the Grade 12 Literacy Assessment. It is important to note that some universities are now looking at these scores and require a 3 or better on a 4-point scale. This is the same rating system that students experienced when writing the Numeracy 10 and Literacy 10 Assessments. Students have up to three opportunities to write this assessment with the best score recorded on their transcript. The first date to write the assessment is January 26th. There will be two other opportunities in April and June. Results from these assessments can take anywhere from 10-14 weeks to be reported. For those students currently taking an English 12 course you have been automatically registered for the assessment. For those students who are NOT currently taking an English course, but would like to take the assessment, you will need to complete the form by January 7th.
