​​The Young Parent Program provides youth who have become parents, an opportunity to further their education and enhance their parenting capacity in a supportive environment.  The goal of this program is to provide a multitude of additional supports which augment healthy adolescent development, enhance infant, toddler and child development, build parenting capacity, and support life-long learning and education.  Students enrolled in the program have access to the onsite daycare when they are attending classes at CABE.

The YPP Support Worker works in close cooperation with the YMCA Little Scholars Day Care and is able to connect young parents with other support programs in the community.  The YPP Support Worker also provides life skills training, self-esteem building, self sufficiency training, and counseling to the young parents and their families.    ​
