Welcome to Pleasantside Elementary!  

It is both an honour and a joy to serve as the Principal of such a vibrant and caring school community. On behalf of our dedicated teaching, clerical, and support staff, I extend a warm welcome to all students, families, and visitors exploring our school website.

At Pleasantside, we believe in the power of compassion, curiosity, courage, and community. Each day, our learners are encouraged to think critically, act compassionately, and contribute positively to the world around them. Through meaningful engagement, creative exploration, and strong relationships, we help our students grow into thoughtful, empathetic citizens.

Our teachers and support staff collaborate closely to design rich learning experiences that develop literacy and numeracy skills.  Whether your child is just beginning their educational journey or is well on their way, we are committed to supporting their growth and success.

We also believe that strong partnerships between home and school make all the difference. I encourage you to stay connected, ask questions, and get involved—whether by exploring and connecting with our PAC Committee, volunteering, or simply saying hello during drop-off or pick-up. Your presence and participation are valued and appreciated.
