The Badminton Team played a competitive friendly match against Scott Creek yesterday. Our players played with great sportsmanship with many victories on all of the courts. Well done to the grade 6 players who competed yesterday against older grade 7 opponents. The team has 2 more weeks to practice before the district finals in badminton.
The Track and Field team competed at yesterday's track meet at Eagle Mountain. All of our members pushed themselves to new heights and Moody placed very well in several events. Some highlights from yesterday's meet go to Aiden who won the Gold medal for coming in first in the grade 6 shotput. Cole won a Silver metal for second in the grade 6 shotput. Mathew won a bronze medal for coming in 3rd in the grade 8 boys 800 meter. Thank you to Ms. Leonard and Mr. Clay for helping to drive the team to the meet.

Handball semi-finals are happening in the gym today at lunch. 12:25 sharp. Come out and watch the teams play for a spot in the finals next week. The first game is Team Water vs. The Individuals. in the second game, Team No takes on Below Average. Hope to see you in the gym so you can cheer on your favourite team or friends or just cheer and show school spirit.
