Today is Transgender Day of Visibility. This is a day to recognize, honour, and celebrate Transgender people, their identities, and their wonderful contributions to our world. In honour of Transgender Day of Visibility, here is a short poem, "Being Trans is Beautiful" by Keath Silva, a transgender poet and advocate:

"Being trans is beautiful

We walk between the worlds

We see from all sides

We have faced oppression

And have found freedom

We break barriers

We build bridges

We open the possibility

Of authenticity for everyone."

Today is an outside day so please head outside at Nut Break and Lunch. Reminder that the 2nd and 3rd floor washrooms will be off limits at lunch time.

Our new catch phrase is "Personal tech goes away during the day". Offenders will become members of the Phone Club and have to leave their phones at the office each morning.
