Good Afternoon French Immersion Families.

I am sending another reminder out regarding our Programs of Choice so you are well informed to apply should this pertain to you.

If you have a younger child hoping to get into Late French Immersion at EMMSOTA you will need to apply, even if there is an older sibling attending the school in French Immersion next year.

Please see the process below as posted on the District website.

PREGISTERING FOR ROGRAMS OF CHOICE

Early and Late French Immersion for September 2023

Apply on the main page of SD43 website, between January 5, 2023 at 9:00am to January 11, 2023 at 4:00pm. Click on the “Late Programs of Choice" to get all of the information.  

Some key points:

• Children with siblings in a Program of Choice must still apply online.
• Siblings will be given priority if the older sibling is in the program of choice in September 2022.
• Applications will be processed on a RANDOM DRAW BASIS. 
• If your child is currently in Grade 8 FRIM they will be automatically transferred to their Grade 9 FRIM catchment school from our office, unless you notify us to say they will be exiting the FRIM program and going to another school.
