Ski & Snowboard Club - The deadline for Ski and Snowboard Club forms has been extended to Monday. Please get your form to the office or Ms. Turje if you want to join! Ask Ms. Turje if you have any questions.
Yearbook Cover Contest - Keep those submissions coming. Ms. Leonard has only received a few so far and is looking forward to seeing more. The deadline to hand in your artwork is Monday. If you need a little more time, see Ms. Leonard.
Remembrance Day Assembly - If you are a student in Cadets, Guides or Scouts and are able to participate in our Remembrance Day assembly, please come for a quick meeting in the Music Room at Nut Break today.
Drop Everything And Read - Today we are continuing to celebrate Canadian Authors with a drop everything and read (hopefully) Canadian, right after announcements. If you haven't handed in your book scavenger hunt yet, get it in today to Ms. Leonard. She will hand out prizes next week to all those participating. So get your books ready and READ!
Scholastic Book Fair - The book fair is coming November 14-18. Any students interested in helping out with the fair, there will be a meeting on Monday at lunch in room 220 (next to the library).
Grade 8 Open Gym - Today at lunch. Proper footwear required. Combination of volleyball and basketball will be available. Please do not enter the gym until an adult is there.
Grade 6 Volleyball - The grade 6 volleyball team has been practicing all month and today the team plays in the District Jamboree at Charles Best. All players please ask your teachers for early dismissal at 2:45 so you can meet your coaches at the Rainbow Staircase today at 2:45.
Recycling Club - We need a few more students to join the Recycling Club. We'll get together every second Tuesday at lunch. See our Youth Worker Christine, if you are interested!
SLC Reps - There is a meeting today at lunch in the MPR for the 14 SLC reps to make some plans related to our District SLC meeting we had this week. Let's please meet after you eat your lunch at 12:20. Bring a notebook and pencil or laptop to take notes. See you at lunch!

High Five Friday - Mr. Clay announced so many High Fives today that Ms. Reeves didn't catch them all. However, we want to acknowledge the great job that EMMSOTA did raising money for the Terry Fox Fund. We raised over $2,500! Average division participation was 67% and divisions 6, 15 and 16 had 100% participation. The following divisions raised an incredible amount of money for the Terry Fox Foundation: Div 15 = $181; Div 14 = 467.30 and Div 6 raised $810!! A special recognition goes to Nathan Lageston from Div 6 who raised close to $500 all on his own!
