Leadership Announcements - Halloween Events - Hey Moody, things are getting spooky out there… And just in time, it's almost Halloween! And we have 3 fun things for you to get involved in!
FIRST – The Schoolwide Halloween Door Decorating is well on it's way… There are lots of crafty things happening, we can't wait to see all the amazing Halloween scenes!
SECOND – Get involved and Participate in the Halloween Costume Contest: The categories are: Scary, Funny, and People of Interest. Choose a category and plan your costume, but please make sure it is appropriate for school!
And Lastly – The Skull Guessing Jar Contest - Look at the Skull Jar filled with candies and guess how many are in it. Then go onto your class TEAM to put in your vote using the link provided. It's just that easy and you could win the contents of the jar!
AND there is one more thing to look forward to….AFTER HALLOWEEN. When we're all a little tired and feeling the affects of a too much sugar… You can enjoy Pajama Day and Reading Parties on Tuesday, Nov. 1st Bring your favourite stuffy, blanket, and pillow too…it's the most comfy and cozy day of the year!
Grade 8 Volleyball Players - Attention grade 8 volleyball team players - boys and girls - scrimmage in the gym at lunch today. Come get some extra practice and hung out with two pretty cool coaches.
SLC Reps - The following students are asked to meet in Ms. Egelstad's room at Nut Break: Lautaro, Chris, Kayleigh and Neala.
Terry Fox Fund - Today is our last day for our Terry Fox Fundraiser! Ask you teacher how close you are to the goal of 100% participation. So far at least 2 divisions have made this goal - Div 16 and Div 6 - Way to go! It only takes a minute to participate in any way you can. Terry ran a marathon a day and this definitely took longer than a minute. We can do this! Teachers please let Ms. Paquette know your final results as soon as you have them and we will announce the results next week.
Senior Band - We will be having rehearsal on Monday morning in your costumes!
Jazz Band - We will have our first practice today after Nut Break.
High Five Friday - High Fives go out to Mr. Jerome Bouvier, our student announcers this week and Ms. DeGroot.
Have a great weekend!
