Student Vote Results - A big thanks to all the teachers and student volunteers who made the Student Vote happen on Friday!  The votes have been counted, and the students of EMMSOTA voted for Steve Milani for Mayor of Port Moody, with 188 votes over Meghan Lahti's 145 votes.  The top Councillor candidates in our Student Vote were Samantha Agtarap, Dustin Chelen, Eric Davis, Diana Dilworth, Barbara Junker, and Amy Lubik.  Our student voters also voted for Lisa Park and Zoe Royer for School Trustee.  The Student Vote website has results for all the schools in Port Moody that did a Student Vote, which are a bit different from our school's results, so make sure to check those out in class as well. In the general election on Saturday, Port Moody's adult voters elected Meghan Lahti for Mayor. If you want to know how else the general election results were different, and hot they were the same, ask your teacher to share the results with you in class.
