Our school Terry Fox Run was an amazing success! - ​Last week, we not only raised awareness about Terry Fox's marathon of hope, but we also continued Terry's wish that we run once a year until cancer is beaten. Now it's our turn to meet Terrry's goal of raising $1 for every Canadian. Every student at Moody middle is encouraged to contribute something to the marathon of hope. Your teacher will mark down all donations and our goal is that every Division reaches 100% participation. Let's do it for Terry!

The field hockey team will have a meeting in Mr. Abello's room at 12:30 today at lunch. - If you are new and were thinking of joining, please join the meeting today to discuss our next practice this Friday. That's field hockey meeting today at 12:30 in Mr. Abello's room.

The swim team is organizing for the district swim meet. - All swimmers need to meet in Ms. Turje's room right at the beginning of lunch. If you are swimming in the district finals, you need to attend this meeting today at 12:15 in Ms. Turje's room.

Grade 8 Girls Volleyball - There will be a meeting at lunch in Mr. Budai's classroom at 12:15pm.

Cross country has a practice today after school - We meet on the rainbow stairs at 3:15pm. You must have your permission form completed to run with us. The second mini-meet is tomorrow after school.

This afternoon, our grade 8 volleyball teams will play their first games of the season. - The grade 8 boys will meet right away at 3pm on the rainbow staircase to organize rides to Kway. The boys team will be playing away at Kway.  The grade 8 girls team will be meeting in the gym after school as they will be playing against the Kway girls team here in our gym.  If you are allowed to stay after school, spectators are welcome to come to the gym after school to cheer on our girls against Kway. Good luck to both teams!

Art Club - ​Grade 6 Are Club meets today in the art room at 12:20pm. Bring a sketchbook and a pencil!

​This Friday, our school will participate in the school vote! -  Each student will vote with the same ballot as adults will for the Port Moody municipal elections. Be sure you know the candidates for mayor, city counselors, and school trustees for this Friday.
