Reminders from the usual Ms. Jung
Safety First
It is cold and icy out so walk and play with caution!
Also, having a mask on when near others is respectful and considerate. Hand washing may not always be an option, but sanitizing is always an option unless our hands are really dirty!
R is for Respect
Today, we have our second day of conferences! Please be respectful and head for home briskly in a safe and efficient manner as soon as dismissal time comes!
Pink Shirt Day
Since 2007, pink shirts have been worn to show that bullying is not acceptable. Wearing a pink shirt is not a reason to be bullied. Wearing a pink shirt as a male is not a reason to be bullied. There is no room for bullying in our lives. Instead, we promote kindness and compassion as the expectation, always. We stand together in solidarity in support of friendships, kindness and belonging. Here, at ÉMMSOTA, there is always a trusted adult to depend on- teachers, staff, Ms. Armstrong, Christine, Mr. Clay and Ms. Jung, are all here to help, to guide and to listen. We encourage everyone to listen with open hearts, eyes and minds and earn the respect and trust of our friends by being kind in how we speak to each other, how we treat each other and how we include each other !
Birthdays
Today, there are no birthdays but if you missed it yesterday, Happy Birthday to Mr. Abdulla, Hana, Tina Farid and Nika!
