After school play rehearsal today after we return from Science World
The Gr 8 boys bball team played 2 very thrilling playoff games yesterday in the district finals. Game 1, our boys were down by 2 with a minute to play - we scored 2 quick baskets to win the game against Hillcrest! In the second game, our boys held the lead the entire game and beat Como Lake by just 1 point. Great job boys! Players please stay tuned for information about your pizza party.
Our Gr 8 girls also played a super season and fantastic playoff game - to win for Moody! Fantastic job girls. You've improved all season and played well as a team.
Pi Day is on 3.14 (Mar 14) so we're celebrating on Friday. Come to the youth lounge next to the tech ed room on Thursday at nut break to recite Pi to more than 20 past the decimal! Pi is the circumference of a circle divided by the radius of a circle. The answer is 3.14 - and it never ends!
