Announcements – Thursday 5 October 2017

October 05, 2017

Music today "Canada Land of the Free" by Alberta Slim and "The Capital Song" by Stompin Tom Connors.

Walk and Wheel – Dash BC has cool prizes that Ms. Jung will be ordering for the team who has the most walkers and wheelers to school during this Walk to School week.  Today is the day we will count totals in each class.  To count, you must stop by the front foyer to get your tattoo as you walk or wheel to school.  Good luck, everyone!  Stay tuned to hear what the prizes are.  What a great way to gear up for the Terry Fox Run on Friday.

Terry Fox Run – Wind Pod is in the lead with Mr. Zimmer's class on the top.  Sorry Earth Pod!  Our total so far is $1100.  The Terry Fox run is tomorrow.

BBQ Treat Day – at lunch on Friday

Grade 6 Volleyball – a reminder that you have practice today afterschool.  Meet at the gym in PE strip and be ready to play.

Cross Country Club – runners will need to attend a brief meeting at recess today in M. Pillsbury's room.  We will be running at our second Mini-Meet at Maples Creek today afterschool.

Swim Club – members please meet in Ms. Egelstad's room at the beginning of lunch for a brief meeting.  We need to discuss the upcoming Swim Meet next Friday.

Project Change – gets together afterschool in the youth lounge for our first meeting of the year.  See Christine for more information.

BRICK – If you have not completed a BRICK form yet, today is the last day to do so.  No form, we will have to assign you to a group without your input.

Official Welcome – Please welcome our new art teacher, Mr. Walker

Happy World Teachers Day to EMMSOTA Staff!
