I am an educator who has worked as a teacher and an administrator with learners from K to 12 for the past 32 years. A lot has changed since I began my journey as an administrator in 2005, but many of the ingredients that serve to create engaging and inclusive learning environments have remained the same. I love collaborating with students, staff and families, fostering a culture of positivity and optimism. As a musician (a drummer!), I am always trying to reference quality music from long ago and yet stay current with the latest musical offerings. It is this combination of best practice from the past and the present of education that creates excitement for me.
