​Dear James Park Families,

Instead of parents purchasing their own sets of supplies, classroom teachers will be collecting $40 per student, and purchasing the supplies themselves. Payment will be collected via School Cash Online once students are settled into their classes in September. As with all potential costs for school, please reach out to the principal if the cost of the school supplies presents a financial challenge and you need support to cover the cost. 

This process will save you time as it will alleviate the stress of having to search through lists (especially if you have children in more than one grade) and having to shop or order the supplies. It also cuts down on overall costs (in some grades as much as $20), as the supplies will all be coming from a supplier offering lower bulk prices. Supplies will be kept in the classroom, so you won't have to worry about replacing lost or used items throughout the school year. This will also mean that there will be no supplies sent home at the end of the school year.
