Travel will be by private vehicles-leaving the school at 12:55pm, returning at 2:30pm.
If you are able to drive/supervise for this fieldtrip, please email Ms. Oliver at laoliver@sd43.bc.ca.
Students will receive a tour of the library, enjoy story time with the Terry Fox Librarian, and then enjoy time to circulate and look for materials to sign out with their own library card.
Signed applications need to be returned to Ms. Oliver ASAP if you want your child to have a library card. Time is needed in advance for administrative processing.
** If your child already has their own Terry Fox Library Card, please ensure you send it to school with your child on or before December 1st.

Although strongly encouraged, attendance is optional; therefore, if you do not wish your child to participate in this activity, alternate learning experiences will be provided at the school. We will require parent volunteers who will drive and supervise a number of students. Unfortunately, due to SD43 regulations and procedures, siblings cannot be accommodated. Please complete your permission form by Tuesday Nov 28th.

While school staff take reasonable steps to prevent injuries to students, some degree of risk is inherent in the nature of activities and may occur without fault on the part of the student, School Board, its employees or agents, or the facility where the activity is taking place. By allowing your child to participate in this activity, you are agreeing that the activity described above is suitable for your child, and that there is a risk of injury associated with the activity.​
