​Division 9 has planned an optional field trip to the Evergreen Cultural Centre to participate in a workshop called "Tiny Tapestries" leaving the school at 8:50 and returning at 12:00. We will take public transit (the #188 or #191 bus) to Evergreen Cultural Centre and then walk back. The cost for the field trip is $7. Although strongly encouraged, attendance is optional; therefore, if you do not wish your child to participate in this activity, alternate learning experiences will be provided at the school. We will require parent volunteers to help supervise students. Unfortunately, due to SD43 regulations and procedures, siblings cannot be accommodated. Please complete your form and payment by no later than Friday, May 12, 2023. While school staff take reasonable steps to prevent injuries to students, some degree of risk is inherent in the nature of activities and may occur without fault on the part of the student, School Board, its employees or agents, or the facility where the activity is taking place. By allowing your child to participate in this activity, you are agreeing that the activity described above is suitable for your child, and that there is a risk of injury associated with the activity. No student will be denied access to this activity due to an inability to pay. Please contact the school’s principal to discuss a fee waiver.​
