Indigenous Education

At Gleneagle Secondary, Indigenous education is central to who we are. Guided by School District 43’s commitment to truth, reconciliation, and the First Peoples Principles of Learning, we honour the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) First Nation.

We work to ensure Indigenous students feel supported and connected, and we provide all learners with meaningful opportunities to engage with Indigenous knowledge, culture, and perspectives. Through relationships, land‑based learning, and community partnerships, we strive to build a school community rooted in respect, understanding, and belonging.
