Orange Shirt Day is September 30 this year. This is to acknowledge the residential school students who were taken from their homes/families and put into these schools. We will be having an assembly on Oct 1 to remember those students. We will also be creating a "Rocks of Love" garden to remember these individuals and what they had to go through. Each student will bring a rock (approx the size of their fist and somewhat flat) and we will be painting hearts on them and creating a permanent rock garden at the front of the school.
