CABE is a district alternate school that offers self-paced learning in a small classroom environment and is designed for students who need a different educational experience. The school uses individualized, self paced instruction in the core subjects (Math, Science, Socials, English) and offers a broad range of elective courses in Art, Foods, Textiles, Jewelery, PHE and Woodwork.
All referrals for CABE are made through the Vice Principal at the secondary schools within SD43. Students who are not currently registered at an SD43 school should enrol in their home school or contact the District Principal of Alternate Education to discuss Alternate Program options.
CABE enrols students aged 16 – 18 years old who are working on completing grade 10-12 graduation requirements. Students can graduate from CABE or catch up on courses and return to their home school.
